“I was posting a letter in the box outside the school gate on Friday evening when a parent, clutching the hand of a very smart little girl in Abbey Uniform, came up to me and told me her daughter was so happy at Abbey and that it was a joy to bring her into school each day. Unfortunately she was not a parent I knew and the little girl was not a pupil I teach so I didn't catch a name before she was gone, beaming all over her face. I can tell you, that boosted my weekend”.
